HTS costs up to $300 a month to operate. We need your help!
Okay...don\'t post on the Hackthissite Admin profile for help...get on IRC in the #help channel and type \"#help [mission]\"...moo will answer you.
Oh, and 1 more stupid post on another member\'s profile will get you banned. These are comments, not mail, so you should use them for commenting on the person. The only reason I\'m using the comments now is because I want other people to see that you were warned for asking for help with comments instead of mail. That\'s why we have the message center. You can very easily ask people for help by messaging them. So next time you\'re overly curious, just get on #help or mail someone. Don\'t use comments for personal communications.
hi, it seems that someone has already helped you...
anyway if you need any extra help feel free to ask me ;)
Alright, well, the password script takes your input and compares it to a file on the server.
Now, the script needs to know where that file actually is before it can compare.
So, theres two ways to set where the password file is.
If its set server side, then you cant change or view it. But, this is a basic mission... So we can safely assume its set client side.
Now, client side basically means \"in the source of the page\". So, what you have to do is search the source of the page to find where the password file is.
Since its comparing the input from the form to the password file, the password file will be in the same <form>
Hope that helps.
