HackThisSite.org News: HackThisSite Is Growing!

With more ideas and more changes comes the need to expand and grow. Given that, we just purchased another server: Dual Quad-Core Xeon 2.8GHz, 16GB PC3200 RAM, and Dual 1TB RAID-1 Drives. We're also going virtual, since previously we ran everything on FreeBSD Jails. Now, we'll be running Debian 5 utilizing the KVM Hypervisor to allow us to fully utilize any operating systems we require, including FreeBSD (and possibly even Windows Server 2008 for some new missions!).

For those who question why an increase is necessary: Our current box has hit its peak capability and capacity. Expansion is necessary for us to add any more server-intensive features (Asterisk PBX, Video Uploads, HTS Radio, etc.).

For those who question how we can afford the increase: You! Those of you who support us and our advertisers made this possible! We thank each and every one of you sincerely, and continually ask for your support by globally allowing HackThisSite.org on all advertisement and script-blocking browser plugins, and supporting those who support us.
