HackThisSite.org News: Dev/Mod Applications Now Accepted

HackThisSite.org (LIVE site, as in the one you are currently looking at) is accepting open applications for PHP Developers and Moderators. The rules to apply are as follows:

Developers
Submit a portfolio compiled of various PHP projects you have coded, with proof of experience and familiarity of PHP OOP. Portfolios must include a wide variety of projects or code snippets, showing various ranges of expertise (Sanitization, MySQL Wrappers, Front-End Interfaces, Back-End Modules/Engines, Modularization, OOP, etc.). Developer applicants will also be asked to develop some PHP code during their interview within a certain time limit to prove expertise in this field.

Update: Developers must also show an expertise in protecting against XSS and CSRF, as well as other common exploits and code flaws. This will also be part of the interview process.

Moderators
Submit a portfolio of areas where moderation has been a requirement, such as forums, IRC Oper, or other large websites with content moderation. The portfolio must also contain a brief paragraph detailing abilities to moderate technical content and why you deserve the position. Moderator applicants will also be presented a few scenarios (including Article scenarios and whether they are decent or not) during their interview and will be asked to detail how they would handle them.



Update: Current developers and moderators WILL be re-interviewed at scheduled times to show existing knowledge and skill with the aforementioned requirements. Those who do not meet these requirements will be asked to resign their position. Details on interview times will be given to the current developers and moderators.
