i think they would live easily, i do not believe in god and i think i live a good life. A world with no god dosent mean a world with no morals, i have not read the bible and i have morals, i think morals come from where you were raised, if you were raised in a deeply religious house then your morals come from the bible, if you do not live with religion they they come from good and bad.

Define what is God. Just define it for yourself and after that, if you have imagination, you’ll be able to take a pick in this world without God.

PS Hm, if we believe the Bible, there will be no World without God. I think it’s in a preface.

Well, to answer this, we need to know why god exists in this world.

In theory, god, any god, by definition, does not need us. He she or it (I'm going to use he from here on in, make it simple) can survive very well without our prayers, and even if in hes devine wisdom knows a good reason to make man kind, there still isn't a reason that he must inform us that he exists.

Therefor we can assume that god exists in this world for us, and it makes sence. Every main stream religen that I can think of (I don't studie religen, so I only know the big ones....) promotes 'goodieness' and general 'two-shoesery'. So you could say this in this world, religen, whether god exists or not, is here to better us as humans. Its basicly the department of morals.

BUT can we replace our church (Or other building, god dam it i hate trying to keep everybody happy!) with some other orgenisation to keep man kind cival?

No idear. I bet after all that text you were expecting an answer.
But soon, its only a matter of time.

([msg=18337]see Re: How would one live in godless world?[/msg])

A philosopher once said "God is dead!" what he(Nietzsche) meant by that is that the belief we add in god faded whit science, he also feared that because God and moral go as one that whit-out belief anarchy would ensue
A world with no god doesn't mean a world with no morals
but you're moral still originate from Christianism, so whit-out it, moral will eventually fade when people start to realize that "God is dead"...so Nietzsche tried to recreate all moral base on earthly(as oppose to heavenly) belief, like that we should honor the body(stay healthy)...but we should realize that all of this is happening, we are all told to start exercising, to live our life fully(as oppose to live in preparation for death) so if god ad just "died" and no one ad notice then it would have meant anarchy, but thanks to Nietzsche, and many others, it won't! in fact Humanity is entering a golden age! think of all that was retarded because of religion:science, technology(if god hadn't "died" you would not be reading this) and if eh ad died sooner i would have my goddamn(yes fu**ing pun intended!!) quantum computer...so religion cost us a lot, but it was necessary for moral to make such progress...so thank and f**k you
Man is something that is to be
surpassed. What have ye done to surpass man?-Friedrich Nietzsche "Thus spoke Zarathustra"
