Is there a easy way to understand perl?

Ive taken a few tuts but Its been a confusing ride for me..

I have never used perl..

In fact I never even heard of it until I was researching python and it mentioned perl.

Im taking a tutorial now that kinda explains perl..

But I could use a more simpler tut...

Learn it is the only way to understand it.
Now would you like me to explain how to understand the human mind?
Im off, last year of school and all, I had something longer but char limit fucked that up. So yeah, had a good run here. Thanks for the memories. Thanks to the staff and users.

godofcereal is right....the only way to better understand perl or anything for that matter is to look into it and study it.
It cant and wont just magicly pop into your head one day.

Try finding a good book so you can reference what your learning. With tuts your being told what to do. Dont get me wrong its how i learned html. If you get hold of a perl book and make your way through it.
