Googling through the locations of the missions?

I have a question: am i supposed to be allowed to google through the site, while doing the missions? For example: i am doing Realistic 14 and I go to google.com and search an empty string at specific domain: http://www.hackthissite.org/missions/realistic/14/. So I obtain all the pages at the site. It often helps a lot and sometimes drives you to solution almost directly. Is it a cheating method?

Yes, it is cheating. And we're aware of this already.

Wouldn't a robots.txt fix this problem rather easy?

Sure, if the site hadn't lacked a real robots file for four years.

Well then... we better get on this.

You could easily and efficiently remove the unwanted urls listed in the Google SERP by using the "Remove URLs" function of the "Google Webmaster Tools": it's really fast and easy.
