## Basic Mission 6

### Re: Basic Mission 6

To start off with this mission, you need to be looking at an ASCII table.

As I have said in other posts...

Start out by encrypting a string of "aaaaa" then see what the outcome is. See what characters took place of the original ones you put. Then look at the table and figure out how it works.
(This is probably too much of a spoiler, if it is message me and I will change it.)
Anyway, that's basically it.

It was fairly easy it's which a bit of intelligence maybe if you have a maths mind you'll be able to complete this easily.

but even still I wish learn how to create my own program to decrypt something like this.

is it like a grid?

hmm I pluged in 12345 and it came out in 13579 I noticed all it did was at 12 23 34 45 to come out with 13579

That's all part of the pattern.

Also, edit your post. As it is a spoiler for the rest of the users.

### Re: Basic Mission 6

I have followed a tutorial on how to use an Ascii chart and how to decrypt, but when I enter the password I got (I even encrypted my answer and got the same as the encrypted password). I don't think it's a spoiler since it's randomly generated, but Imy final decrypted answer is "2a9d69v3" and the encrypted was "2b;g:>l:". I even went over it twice with the chart (and like I said, I encrypted my final answer and got the same encrypted password).

Your decrypted answer is wrong from that encrypted one. You did something wrong somewhere.

What the heck is everybody doing. I leave for a few days and this happens? lol. Ok, everybody, put the tables away... you don't need them. This one is all about common sense. You can put in anything you want and see how it handles it. go ahead, just put 'anything' through. If you're reeeeally stuck, just put in a whole bunch of the same thing. See what happens. From there, just count backwards and use your head. It really is that easy.

Thanks!!! It really helped. I really just have to decrypt it!!!
