Finally i got this one,did learn about how flash variables but not as educating as some of the other ones like the cookie stealing one


For those who are stuck at the admin login part

goto the simple mail home page on the top left there is a menu called "Links"

there,go to bob's super site,for a tutorial on load variables

thats really the key to this mission

Variables in the query string can be useful: just remember to put the right email in

Well actually theres no need for guessing where to put the 'email' in the query,the query structure is there in that check email flash button,you just had to decompile it.


I wonder if all flash objects are so easily decompilable

According to some posts the first step is supposed to be real obvious...but um i really cant find out what to do . I cant even access the user panel ppl are talking about so pls can u give me a hint as to where to look for the start, i've been looking for a while now and cant find anything.

so i might be missing something... but i dont know what to put in for the email. im at the admin page and i've messed with the url based on the decompiled swf right... but i dont know the username that i want to read emails from.

EDIT: Figured it out.
It's an email address not a username. That took forever for the simplest part... figures. I should have realized email= means email... not username.

I am sadly stuck. I know there's no way around overwriting c*****.***, since even extracting the right URL from the decompiled flash movie doesn't help. I know usernames are special somehow, but I can't figure out which username I might want. The debugging prints are not so helpful since any "." and "@" cause the debug message to be printed out, regardless of the existence of that file.
What am I missing to understand how usernames work?

Check the source obsessively and thoroughly at every single step, no matter how useless it may seem at first glance.

If you follow that direction perfectly, you will know how usernames work in the way that will help you advance.

Sometimes there's more hiding out there than you may have seen at first.
