i am relatively newbish and don't know much about this kind of stuff yet i have looked up everything suggested by other users so far and i have tried everything i can i just can not figure out how to restore the old site i have worked through all the other levels a few times to make sure i kind of knew what i was doing and i found the original site but this one has had me stuck for hours help would be much appreciated though i don't want the answer just spoon fed to me i have pretty much completely burned myself out reading every post and trying to follow every hint i just cant figure out what to do please help.

To fix the site you need two things: the source of the original index page and the ability to write to a file. The second one is more difficult than the first. Do you have any way to write data to a file on the site?

haha can't believe how dumb I was, sitting a few characters away from the solution. Make sure you remember the name of the page you are trying to fix exactly .
Also, I think the best advice was that the solution does not require injection of any commands. (hopefully that is not too much of a spoiler)

hi guys i have just finished this mission after searching hard in the internet and i need to understand something here.
i restore the original page successfully but how can i know where i put it in the server i just used *removed* and i actually don't understand how it works.

If I recall correctly it could be done without guessing, though it's been a while since I've done the challenge. Guessing works too of course.

Don't worry, as long as you don't outrightly say what command or filename or similar one has to put in or what exactly to do, it's usually not a spoiler and just a hint. There is a post somewhere from Monica about this iirc.

Yes you can, but not without guessing a few times if I remember correctly. It's not spelled out afaik.
