Realistic 3 - 'Peace Poetry' Guide

A little girl made a website to post poetry related to peace and understanding. American fascists have hacked this website replacing it with Hitler-esque propaganda. Can you repair the website?

I've gotten to the original peace poetry webpage, I've researched directory traversal and i understand HTML and PHP at an intermediate level. I've read every single reply to the OP and i still don't understand any of the hints or connections.

I can't find any connection between any of the basic missions and this mission (besides HTML stuff that i can't say because it might be a spoiler). I don't understand how I'm supposed to use directory traversal with the website.

The guide did nothing to help, besides a few hints here and there leading me to the original peace poetry webpage.

Can anyone provide a better explanation?

~Thank you

The goal is to replace the original index with the old source code. How could you write files to this server?

I should rephrase what i said. I do know that i am supposed to replace the index page, but i don't know what direction i should head in to get there. I've tried plenty of methods with the poem submission form, but to no avail. The source code for the main poetry page and the read the poetry page don't provide me with any context, either.

notice a correlation with the title of the poem pages and the name of the file.

Go through an example of how one would submit a poem with a certain title, and how they might want to submit it so it ends up in a different directory on the site.
The glass is neither half-full nor half-empty; it's merely twice as big as it needs to be.

Figured it out! :D
Thank you very much. I didn't even bother going to the poems' pages until after that.

Also: The glass is not twice as big as it needs to be, it is always full: for one half is filled with fluid, and the other is filled with air.

Try uploading the original page again.

Holy cow I spent forever to find the original page. Then I noticed that you don't see what you have to see with firebug. "View page source" did the trick and it took a few minutes T_T

Please sorry for my English but it's not my first language.
Ok, I CAN'T solve this level in any way. I tried all. I found the old site, I opened the form to submit poetries and I tried to "restore" old site but it seems doesn't work. I think I'm doing the correct steps but without any results :( pls help me!!!

EDIT:

I can't believed it, I tried to do the same thing for the hundreth time and this time it worked!!!

I have only one question: How can I know how the poetries are stored? The first thing I thought is that they are stored in a DB and not in a file, so I can't understand what thing suggests me how the developer structured the site!!
