I just checked it, and everything seems to be working properly. You will get a congratz message once the mission is completed successfully. So, if you haven't gotten that message, then something went wrong.

It's WAY easier than some people seem to think. Remember this is realistic mission 1. :) I was going way out of my way...

Anyone who gets past page three of this thread and doesn't get the hint is way over thinking... Downloading firebug or tamperdata or whatever is a complete waste of time when all you need is to change one piece of information in the source.

javascript:void(document.forms[4].elements[2].value="50000");javascript:alert(document.forms[4].elements[2].value);

But there seems some problem and i get value always as 1, can somebody throw some light?

I have written the complete code as Its not working, hope this doesn't counts as spoiler and answer stuff! If otherwise then I apologize for my behavior, and please omit the lines and make the corrections.

I myself also have tried it this way, Hope anyone whom is able to pm me on the correct way. Thanks in advance

ps: i have completed the mission so no fear of typing in any spoilers in the pm

This can be had by using the innerHTML method (I think this terminology is correct but excuse me if it isn't, I don't do much javascript).

I'll pm you the solution that I had.

Wow took about 1 minute after I read up on query strings. You dont need a program or anything.

this mission is pretty easy without using any specialized software...
try downloading the source code to your machine and then run it the way it is from your machine....u'll get some message which is all u need

I would assume it is common error for people who don't know how php and web servers, or HTML even, work. Go read up on HTML and PHP and come back in two hours and laugh at yo self.
