Email Security

I've heard a lot about email insecurity recently, and I would like to know how much of it is true, and how much is just bs. I don't know much about real hacking, and I'm not asking for people to hack an email for me. I just want to know where I can go to learn more about security flaws in common e-mail servers (like gmail or yahoo).

I really just wanna know how un/safe I am. Can anyone help?

Thanks in advance.

You dont have much to worry about. The only way I can see someone getting your password is via keylogger or social engineering.
Sites like gmail, yahoo and hotmail, are all very secure sites. These sites host thousands upon thousands of emails, they need to be secure.
Nothing to worry about.
Im off, last year of school and all, I had something longer but char limit fucked that up. So yeah, had a good run here. Thanks for the memories. Thanks to the staff and users.
