Hmm, I've used a dell qwerty board (The same one!) for ten years. The Dvorak layout seems odd after such usage of qwerty, but hey; new things can be good! All about what're more convenient for programming. ;)

You know I heard of this in a class discussion when we were talking about and it came to the idea of what was the best type of layout for a keyboard.

My prof was not a fan of Dvorak simply because he is a big fan of vi and it makes using it inconvenient.

I prefer the qwerty-keyboard.

In the latest issue of the swedish magazine "Illustrerad Vetenskap" (Science Illustrated) there were an article about this!
IMO: They sounded very positive about the Dvorak version..

I've heard about (and wanted to use) the dvorak version for some time now.

An unfortunate side-effect of using the Simplified Keyboard Layout, however, is that games are not designed around it and my job and various hobbies are not tailored to that style of keyboarding. Since remapping keys is not always an option and it would likely be very difficult to be trained fluently in two different typing styles I have unfortunately remained a qwerty user.

Being as how my typing skills average 90-110wpm, I don't see switching as that huge of a deal.
