The constant threat: viruses, trojans, spyware, ... the list goes on

So, i just tried a new backdoor trojan tool called The Fat Rat. I succesfully created almost 100% FUD backdoor with it, but the main problem i have is that when i try to start virus.exe in my win 10 (AV and UAC disabled for testing) it runs my virus (shows black command line like it should), but before it can take connection to mu kali linux, win 10 shows error program stopped working and then im forced to close it. Only basic msfvenom backdoor (which is not FUD at all) works. So does anyuone have any solution for this problem? I know it should work, because in many tutorial videos and articles i found users have succesfully executed it in win 10.

Thanks for the answers :)

victim OS: Win 10 64bit
attacker OS: Kali linux 2
payload: windows/meterpreter/reverse_tcp
i used option 2 in fatrat menu

In case you didn't find it out, you need to use "windows/meterpreter/x64/reverse_tcp" as your payload. Also when using msfvenom, add "-f exe-only" The reason why is because your attacking a 64 bit version of windows, so you need to tell metasploit what your doing. I had the exact problem too when i first started.
