Kaspersky is certainly one of the best options.

Malwarebytes is by far the best antvirus/malware program out there. However this should be used in unison with other products as well.

These days new threats emerge every day, and knowing what is friend and what is not can be difficult. So I truly believe that there isn’t an internet security suite made which is 100 percent effective. But it's possible to be secured for some extent.

Well, from my point of view I would recommend use windows, always inside a virtual machine. If your computer is powerfull enough is the best choice if you dont pretend to play games. Use snapshot as backup.

That is my case. But if you re gonna use windows as main OS, i recommend avast. However I never tried malwarebytes.

Good luck!

What I know and What I use I will suggest you Windows Defender is the best free Microsoft Antivirus Software. Still, I'm using this software didn't get any issue about it and also didn't yet have any Virus on my Laptop. Windows 8 and 10 you will get by default otherwise you can download it free from Microsoft Websites. Hope you will also like this Antivirus Software.

I prefer ESET. Very good at blocking malwares.

On my Windows 8.1 partition , I use malware byes and Avast Internet Security and have for about 6 months.. I like the little Web button that gives me a heads up if I head into "bad" territory. Virus-es love windows. I would get rid of this partition except we need to use MS Word products at times.

I recommend Debian as a virus protector...
It's better than anything out there that you could EVER install on a windows platform.

One other thing I do is I never save anything on my computer. I have a portable hard-drive that I plug in by usb, mount, save and exit. If I need something I copy/paste to my desktop, use it and then delete it. I do this on both partitions. Keeps everything nice, safe and clean.

I should add, there are A LOT of VPN review sites out there when someone is shopping for a new VPN provider. And a lot of them seem to be compromised, in that they recommend whoever pays them or advertises with them.

On the other hand, this VPN review site https://thevpn.guru/best-vpn-review/ seems to be reasonably objective, and also includes user comments at the bottom of their own reviews from people who are or have been actual subscribers with those services, and at times, very negative comments. So you can tell the website is not censoring for that. While not perfect, I've found this website to be very helpful when evaluating different VPN choices.
