Having trouble with hacking home wifi network

I'm trying to follow this tutorial:

http://www.kalitutorials.net/2013/08/wi ... ck-ng.html

But when I get to step 2, I try this cmd:

Code: Select all
airmon-ng start wlan0

It gives me everything except for it won't give me wlan1 or the name of the router. I'm thinking of trying this with an ethernet port but will that make a difference if I just take a CAT6 and plug it in for internet? I'm trying to do it with WiFi so that's probably a bad idea, but basically, the last line it gives me starts with Interface. Everything on that line and above it gives me, but not below. Could I have some help? Thanks.

Nevermind, I solved it. It was easier than I thought.
