Hacking WiFi

I had an idea, how can I hack a WiFi to get data to facebook messenger and such? Considering that my laptop and phone are connected to the same internet it shouldn't be impossible right? I was thinking if its somewhat possible that when I hack the WiFi and open fb messenger via my phone to get my email and password from packets or somewhat gain all messages that are on my fb messenger on phone on laptop. Is such thing possible, and how?

We've all been beginners, or some of us still are, but that won't stop you from learning, if you want to.
I assume from what you're trying to do that you want to get account details and/or messages from a network.
There are basically two ways:
1. You monitor the network, assuming that you own it and that you control any and all packets sent and received through.
2. You sniff the WiFi signals sent through the air and decrypt them in order to gain the data.

If this data is, by any means, not yours, what you're trying to do is most likely illegal.
I've given you some small hints above. But, if you're not sure what you're doing or you have almost no experience with such things, you're better off not doing anything.
