Stego 6

Ok ok, I know, easy, right?

Well evidently I can't type in what the check is looking for. I know what the emblem means and I've tried every way I could ever think of to type in it's meaning. I've looked at the hex and the color values and blah, blah, blah even though I know it's got to be simpler than that.

So, I'm an either missing something that is completely obvious, or I am a complete idiot and I should give up. Probably both.

Any helpz?

Well, thanks, but that didn't really help me since I've tried what I've found to be obvious already. So, I'll go with a list of everything it's not:

I've tried all combinations of the above - upper and lower case. Like I said, I know what the symbol stands for, but clearly just looking at and typing what it means isn't working for me. I've got to be overlooking something or not typing something correctly, but I guess if nobody really wants to help me out, then I'm gonna give up. I'm not going to waste anymore time trying to get past the check code.

Okay... so I compared it to another file of the same type and found out where the file SHOULD end.. but there is garbage stuff after it ending with ==.... is this part of the mission? If so... how is that supposed to be the answer? Its huge... at first I thought it might be a hash... but Im not sure.... any hints.. no spoilers... just helpful pushes in the right direction.

I'll give you a huge hint: Cain and Able should have a tool to decode that hash.

Um.... what the hell kinda hash is this? Ugh.. I've tried everything.. is the == at the end part of the hash.. just tell me what type it is.. there's no way to google search that.

Yes there are ways to google it, since that's how I figured it out. Also lambda0 pretty much just handed it to you with cain/able.. if cain has a method for cracking this particular hash then you could just try each method until one works. I personally found google to be a quicker solution.
