I guess a second option, that I also can't get to work...

Code: Select all
#!/usr/bin/perl
use LWP;
use HTTP::Cookies;
#learn perl yourself

What am I doing wrong here?

Edit: removed some spoilerfic code. ~fas

I don't think you have to edit the cookie file, you should be able to set them someway.

I was messing around earlier, I just sent my PHPSESSID cookie and it logged me in.

Why not just use a JavaScript and get rid of all the cookie problems?

You mean like a Greasemonkey script, Jimmy? Yeah that works too if it's what you mean. I just didn't know I could when I first started these missions.

No, I mean that you put javascript:<very much code> in the address bar. It worked great for me :D

Yeah, that's the easy way to do it, I'll have to try that sometime.
Learning how to send cookies is good though.

okay..
so I've found that the only cookie I need to actually send
is the PHPSESSID.. I wasn't sure because there are so many.
What's _utm[a,b,c,z,ect.]?

But.. How am I supposed to decide what the value should be?
Every time you delete it, and re-login, it changes..

Just do a
Code: Select all
javascript:alert(document.cookie)
in the address bar.

Send it however you do in Perl and it should log you in. "PHPSESSID=*" There used to be like a salted hash that we could use beside that, but that works.

Yes, just copy and paste your cookie into your program and have it get set. Then you don't need to log in.
