Pretty sure that I have the right codes, but still get "incorrect serial number message". When have somebody completed this mission at the last time? I do use wine with these app-missions, but this one I also tested with real windows installation, and got the same result.

I need to second this, no serial works. Unless the obvious answer is a red herring.

Additionally, when the application is run in Administrator-Mode, I`m unable to paste anything by ctrl-v nor the inbuild mechanic. Bug or feature?

It's indeed broken. It returns invalid serial message to me, despite entering a valid serial number.

Hi for all.

Is this task still works?

Any of the serials from the proper solution doesn't work. So I had to search for the password in Google, any of these serials(even the one is the solution) did not work.

Can confirm the challenge is broken. I don't want to give too much away, but peeking on network traffic will reveal the bug. Something else was updated, and this app needs to be updated as well.

That being said, I *was* able to get the app to accept a valid serial, but it required some major workarounds and was an overall major PITA. At least solving it helped me learn a bit of IDA scripting :D.

If this doesn't get fixed and anyone needs help on working around the bug, I would be billing to offer hints if they can prove they figured out how to beat it the way it was initially designed. Although it might be better to skip ahead until it is fixed.

Edit: I can only speak for the Windows version of the challenge. Also, I realized there is a *MUCH* simpler way to finish this without going through all the hoops I did. Oh, well.

Initially I thought the keys file is a decoy and you have to go around it. But after I looked into the code more closely I found this "Status: Reading data...", so I'm guessing the app is supposed to read some data, perhaps from that very file and it obviously doesn't.
I think I did this mish before on one of my other accounts, but even then I still had to trick the app into believing yes is no and no is yes, using a program called CheatEngine.

Same here... No serial in the given link is working. :!: :!:
Please confirm its status.
