Hi,
I have some difficulty with this. I find two branch of algorithm: one leads to "Wrong Awnser", another to "Your looking in the wrong place...". And I get the pseudo password that leads to the second branch.
Can somebody kicks me on the road to the right place?

EDIT: ohhh... i just found the answer. i really like that magic guy, both this crackme and his previous one (10) were very good. he reminds me of an old friend who made crackmes that seem impossible, but make you want to punch yourself in the face when you figure out what the answer was.

anyway, ill give u a hint: i solved this crackme without the use of a debugger\decompiler of any kind, and by a complete accident. remember, the world's greatest discoveries were made by an accident

There are a few different methods to complete the mission.

A decompiler would be useful, especially for a few other App missions.

Hi,

I am also stuck on app 11. I am only able to find the branch that leads to the two path and the "password" that lead the msgbox that tells me I am looking at the wrong spot. I keep reanalyzing the code but I couldn't dig out any additional information. I also took the advice from the other poster but still I didn't discover anything new. Can someone point me towards the right direction please?

Hi, I just downloaded the zip and ran the exe and it was directly showing "the answer is :..." underneath the input field.
Please check if it is broken or not.
Should I give my system information ?

This is the kind of annoying challenge which is over in a flash if you happen to poke it with the right tool, and which can lead to excessive loss of hair if you don't. One previous post suggests using task manager or process explorer ... probably a dead end. At least I spent a lot of time trying and got nowhere. Hint: try different (free) VB analysis tools. Some pretend to show all relevant information, but actually dont.
