Reverse engineering mission

([msg=89940]see Reverse engineering mission[/msg])

Two binary challenges has been made, these are not my own, but found them as part
of a challenge to a 3 letter agencys potential new recruits.

The challenges are zipped and password protected with the pass: 'infected'.

Some anti-virus vendors might see these files as malware since they use similar techniques.

Challenge 1
This binary file contains a way for you to submit your answers.
When you find it you will also need to answer the following question about challenge 1:

At what address can the tail jump to the original code be found?

Challenge 2
In your answer please provide the following:

A description of the overall purpose and functionality of the binary file
The decrypted content of data.bin and data2.bin
A script to decrypt any version of data.bin without the binary. Preferably in python but this can be in any language as long as it is not compiled.

Challenge (download zipfiles).

Thanks for the share, it sound interesting! I may look into these when I get spare time.

For everyone else, as always: be careful with (random) downloads. This sounds like fun, but the source has not been verified, so if you decide to download the challenges, keep that mind.
