Re: What sparked your interest in computers?

Computers? Installing overly large floppy disks on my windows 95 when i was probably at the age of 7-8 to play games (obviously i also played to much age of empires). Hacking? Picking up "hacking for dummies" at the age of 14, after which i immediately became a 1337 h4xx0r. Nah to be hones...

Once you know one language, learning another language will be much easier, just need to learn the syntax, in the end a varia...

Re: Am I at a bad age to learn hacking?

Btw, if you have questions, just fire away, there are a ton of experienced people on this board (atleast that is my impression :D). I think getting into pentesting web applications is probably the easiest to learn first. You should install kali linux (just download virtualbox and load up the kali li...

Re: Am I at a bad age to learn hacking?

I'm 20, but I came onto this site several months ago at the age of 19. I'm recently getting into programming after starting over dozens of times when I was younger. I'm wondering if I'm old to learn hacking/computers etc. if my goal is to catchup to some of the people who started slightly younger, ...

Anyone on this board has experience in reverse engineering popular browsers for sandbox escapes? Conducting some research myself, but there are not really many white-hat boards dedicated to hardcore security research (feel free to suggest some if you know any).. so just giving this place a shot :). ...

Re: where to hire hacker?

You should really be more strategical about asking this question. Try something like: "Hey, i made a website and i'm looking for a pentester to test for web vulnerabilities. Willing to pay handsomely". That still won't work around here. Proof of ownership is required and if the guy has th...
