Re: Malicious Hack/Crack Tools and wesbites ?

Chrome can be overprotective and try to call out things like JtR. This is pretty common of antivirus and filtering applications. Stuff like psexec, aircrack, various keyloggers, and JtR are often caught by them because malware can also silently download and utilize these tools to stage more attacks...

Malicious Hack/Crack Tools and wesbites ?

So I was doing a hacking challenge at http://www.hax.tor.hu I came across a level where the hint says I should download John The Ripper password cracker in order to crack some hash. While downloading John the Ripper, my browser (Chrome) says it's malicious and it doesn't allow me to download. I was ...

Re: SQL Injection.

It really looks like you've got the wrong idea about this place right now. You're not being told "it's illegal, be careful". You are being told that you should not do this because it is illegal, and nobody here will support illegal activities. This seems to be less about google dorking an...

Re: SQL Injection.

You shouldn't choose to do that, as that would be illegal. Google dorks, as parakkafaith already said, are just a way to find possible vulnerable sites. If a site might be vulnerable and thus shows up when you use a google dork, there's a higher chance your SQLi will work. But if I use a VPN I'll b...

Re: SQL Injection.

Google dorking is basically just using advanced search techniques to expose information that shouldn't be accessible through a search engine. This could reveal information without ever having a need to do any kind of injection. These search techniques are actually functions built into the search en...

SQL Injection.

After several research regarding website hacking, I came across what is called google dork. So there's a list of google dorks to be chosen from, then google search it and a list of websites will appear. Then you will have to choose a website to SQL inject right ? So I was wondering, is that all just...

Re: What to learn and install?

Please correct me if I'm wrong, anyone. K. Where you are not wrong is anywhere you state that there needs to be a vulnerability. It should go without saying that you can't exploit something that isn't vulnerable to exploits. Where you are wrong is the part where you define what's required, mentioni...
