Re: Looking for some advice.

I can give you a few good pointers. You seem to talk both about cracking and hacking, but since they're 2 different things they both take quite different paths. Cracking: cracking a game means removing any protection it has including DRM, CD-CHECKS, CD-KEY checks. You usually need a good knowledge o...

Re: Programming 9

Jheez, been at this for over a week, finally completed it. ..... I hope you didn't loose a lot of time on figuring the 64bit part, just a page behind you mzungudo warned users about that! We found it out the VERY hard way. I do agree there should be a warning about the site using 64 bit integers ( ...

Re: I'm getting the Xbox One for my b-day!!!

The only thing I could tell you to try is Destiny I think.
Also on a side note, when not playing on the xbone, DO USE the gamepad on your pc ( you can use any microusb cable I think )
they're pretty darn good controllers to play with ( I use both the 360 and the xbone one ).

Re: Arduino in C

I don't know what car you've got, but you might like this project http://openxcplatform.com/vehicle-interface/hardware.html , there are some ready made "dongles" that connect to the diagnostic port of the vehicle ( for supported vehicles ), or you can make one yourself. If your...

I use IDA for analysis and mostly when writing keygens, but if you work with packers in IDA you're gonna have a bad time.

Re: C > ASM

Works if you change the compiler. You are correct, he should use gcc ( the latest or w/e ) Both cout AND std ( the standard library ) are c++. Pure c would be something like #include <stdio.h> int main() { printf("Hello World"); } EDIT: This makes me wonder, how the hell you pro...

Re: Scripted HTS Login

I thought you created custom shell code in assembly for use in a binary exploit, now that would've been cool. Oh god no... binary shell code that I have to inject in a random executable just to login? that makes no sense, I mean it would be cool but it would be just an over complication One questio...

Wait, you created shell code for logging in? Sure, post away :) Yup, #!/bin/bash USERNAME="" PASSWORD="" SOLUTION="" wget -q -O http://www.hackthissite.org/user/login --post-data="username=$USERNAME&password=$PASSWORD&btn_submit=Login" --s...

Re: Any polyglots in the house?

Russian in particular IS AWESOME, and has always fascinated me before learning it What do you like about Russian? I don't speak it, but I'm all for learning it. It has fascinated because it was completely different from my native language, which is a neo-latin language. That's why I want to learn j...

I know Italian, English, Romanian, French, Russian and Latin. I am trying to learn Japanese, and I'll probably visit it sometime next year. I've always loved languages, especially those that were COMPLETELY diferent from my language ( Russian in particular IS AWESOME, and has always fascinated me be...
