Re: CIS or software engineering?

I'm studying software engineering at the moment (Queensland University of Technology) Represent! The university I go to pretty much makes us learn from projects and nothing else, which I think is working out pretty good. You're right though, reading books and studying is no substitute for doing some...

Re: Overpopulation

The only true system that could be implemented as a viable solution for first world countries is one that rewards low amounts of children (0 - 1) rather than penalizing high amounts of children. This would most likely only stabilize the global population rather than decreasing it, but that is proba...

Do you think we're doomed and that we're all going to starve to death in our lifetimes. Is there anythi...

Re: Design Forum

Your designs look pretty hip and poppin fresh. I've tried to make nice signatures and the likes before on my own but it doesn't make me calm and relaxed, no it makes me angry because I'm pretty talentless when it comes to design.

Re: Fun with Arduino

I've got my hands on an Arduino myself. Probably the coolest thing I've made with it is a small robot that navigates around via a sharp IR ranger. I'd post some pictures of the little guy but he was sacrificed for parts pretty quickly :|
