Re: Social Engineering Tips

well, it's easy to manipulate teachers. Make it look like you did it. The problem with that is, you can do that all quarter but then come finals time, you are the person who sits at there test going, " I do not know one word on this test". Besides every class I have homework is like 10% of...

Re: Setting up my own IRC?

people from my gaming clan are seeing the light and slowly pulling away from IRC and using our Mumble Server. I think we use esper.net for IRC. I don't manage it though and have never been much a fan of IRC (I came from telnet chat way back in the day) On a side note however, what would you suggest...

What programming languages do you know?

Well I've been pretty interested in programming after I started coding websites. At the moment I know these languages pretty well: Visual basic 2007 & 2010 C# C++ ( a little ) That's really it at the moment. I am working on more, but I was curious as to what other HTS members are using to progra...

Setting up my own IRC?

Well I love what an irc is, and would enjoy setting one up I can use for me and my friends. I would like a free one seeing as how it's not like I will be using it for anything serious. I looked at this one: http://www.echatserver.com/ I like it because it's 128-bit encrypted. Nice and secure. But I ...

Re: What to do with an old laptop?

It was just gonna be a home server, nothing huge.

And Linux? Sounds like I'll have to learn that, then Set it up. Is there a server mode?

Re: Hacking For Dummies - good/bad for beginners?

What about website security, though? Even if website security systems aren't specifically written in HTML, don't I need HTML knowledge to know where the security systems will be placed in the page source? When it comes to the website, yes. As you will see in the HTS missions, the basic ones are don...

Re: Surpised this isn't a topic here.. it is everywhere else

I agree that information is powerful. Put in the wrong hands, it can destroy. In the right hands, it can bring change for the better. Anonymous believes that DDOS is the answer to everything. That by downing websites, they are powerful. The sad fact is that 4chans best days are behind it. The proble...

Your views on 4chan aka anonymous & wikileaks "hackers".

Well obviously with the whole wikileaks conspiracy, much support and opposition has surfaced around the internet for it. Now I respect HTS, and was curious to hear your beliefs on 4chan. For those who don't know, 4chan is the most popular image board to hit the web. They are called anonymous or &quo...

Makes sense.

The user has 1 post, and first thing to post is a link.
