Re: Online Poker

I'll give you poker lessons for $30 per hour. Then you'll know when someone is trying to bluff you and you would know if you were winning or not so you could fold without losing too much money.

As far as splitting them up, if they are always spaced so evenly with little overlap you might just be able to cut the image into 5 pieces with 40...

Re: Website's Source

Goatboy wrote:You need a firefox addon in order to edit the source. It's called Firebug. Look it up.

This is technically true, it can be done using Javascript, which is important to know imo, otherwise he'll just think Firebug is some magic program :P

Re: Java: Can't figure out why I have an endless while loop

Not sure if you know this, but a simpler method to predict population would be: public int predictPopulation(int years) { return (int)(Math.pow((1+(growthRate/100)), years)*population); } Edit: Actually, a few other things. If the growth rates are the same you output that neither will outgrow ea...

IRC Clients: mIRC for Windows, irssi for Linux
You might find it easiest to start off with Ubuntu for a Linux distro.

Re: Java Question

How would i use that one? What? You're just specifying where the file, in the case cat.txt is. You can do so using a relative path, meaning a path relative to the folder that you are in. This is what you've attempted in your OP - you're telling your program to look for cat.txt in the same folder th...
