Use Cain and Abel for this one, use JTR on realistic #7. I'll give you the basics of using JTR in windows and maybe that will help you in using it in linux. Ok I am using JTR. Even though I read a few times JTR wont crack **4. Regardless though I am having trouble with the syntax of JTR. Need a little help if I can. Ok here is my issue, I have the hash. But I need to know a program I can use to crack it. Please dont tell me cain & abel. It does not run on Linux. Ineed a program that runs on Linux natively that can handle **4

If you are still looking, go with a *nix system. To start with I go with Ubuntu, more user freindly especially if you are really used to Windoze. Then start trying out other *nix systems. There is litterally a million of them out there.

Honestly it really depends on each individual. Everyone has the things they want and or need. Personal prefrence. As far as me, personally I use BT3, BT4, Ubuntu 8.04 and 9.04, and SuSe
