Re: STEGO 11

It's not a datamatrix. Tried that. It doesn't have the appropriate border around it, so I even tried adding one. Still nope. Nines, I found it very interesting that in the top row of each superpixel, there's exactly one pixel that is *different*, and that its location in the top rows varies between ...

Re: Stego 10

No, it doesn't. I was just curious.

Re: Stego 10

I'm fairly certain that there is a spelling error. If you solve it again, the eighth letter of the result is repeated, when it shouldn't be. Usually, as you go back in time, things are spelled more intuitively/phonetically, not less. Can you confirm what I'm seeing and that it specifically is not an...

Re: Stego 10

The result definitely threw me off. I spent another two hours before I said, 'let me just try it'. This was definitely a good one. One obvious thing to note that might help some people: The commas aren't letters.

On an entirely unrelated note, any reason why the spelling error was left in?

Re: Stego 9

Ok, I'm running around in circles. Please tell me if any of these are anywhere near on the right track: Would this involve using fuzzy matches at all? (ex. 0=1=2 and 254=255) Can this mission be done without a sound card? Does this mission have anything in common with Programming 2? I came up with a...

Re: stego 5 work?

Hey guys, I'm trying, but this one's getting me. In order to determine if a byte is of interest, I expected to be looking for trios, but that doesn't work. Unless, are missing bytes part of the mission? or are they a part of the BMP file format? By looking for flawed trios, I only found 27 'bytes of...

Re: ExtBasic 14

How wonderful. I start my first class on java in six days "Introduction to Object Oriented Programming". Seriously. Looks like I'll be reading ahead. I'm already familiar with OOP, just not java. Ext 14 will have to wait.

Re: ExtBasic 11

This was most definitely my favorite mission so far. I must admit that without this thread I would not have gotten it, although (due to past experience writing scripts and progs working with large numbers) I got it as soon as mutants_r_us_guild mentioned this: you'll notice that after a certain poin...
