Re: What operating system do you use?

Personally I like Windows XP, but I really want to be able to fine-tune, tweak, and change stuff on my system. So now I'm using Ubuntu...ok, it's not hardcore linux, but it does what I want and is pretty well supported. Oh, and I don't have to run a million anti-malware programs :D My home server ru...

Re: Do U think prayer works

An interesting way to look at prayer could be as personal motivation. A pep-talk to yourself, if you will. And that by itself definitely helps - puts a sick patient in a better mood, a sports team will be driven to play better, etc.

Re: SQL Injection, identify, exploiting and fixing the problem!

Other than posting the name of the site...jeez. DONT DO THAT. Anyways. So, looks like you've found an SQL injection. Great. See what you can do with it! The first think you'd want to do is experiment with finding the database structure. Personally, I like using two dashes (--) instead of /*, to comm...

Care to explain *why* that's cheating? Hacking doesn't always have rules, you know. Just pure logic. ;)

Also I've removed certain parts of your post, please don't do that again.

Re: WNYU Interview

OOOH OOH PICK ME PICK ME! kidding. Serious question though...what would you interview a hacker about? What would you be hoping a hacker would say on air...leak 0-days? Brag of his digital adventures? Talk about how he started the worlds largest and finest (*ahem*cough*ahem*) hacking site? Would be i...

Re: Security Mistake?

It's not Base64...two things in it tell me not, brownie points if you can guess what they are.

Offhand, I'm guessing it's just some random gibberish they put in there to prevent CSRF.

Re: Learn Security Online website

A security site that uses Joomla of all platforms, probably the most insecure piece of crap I've seen in ages.. I'll bet you could find an SQL injection vulnerability in that site in minutes. In the last 9 days there have been 5 SQL injection vulnerabilities and 2 Local file inclusion vulnerabiliti...
