Re: Forensic Mission 1

*Might be slightly off-topic* So I finished this a while ago and looking through my old HTS archives I remembered that there is one thing with this mission that still interests me. Obviously the supposed "nudes" were put there on purpose (and are hinted heavily in the mission description),...

Re: Remote Missions Beta

Not working. The mission is not working because the external server (http://67.21.66.237/) does not respond, the API is not working because hackthissite.org does not accept incoming connections on port 51064.

Re: Suicide......your thoughts

religious people make me lulz when they get upset because all it does is highlight their insecurity with their "faith". Whats even more funny are the religious people who do not even have faith and they are religious just because that's what their parents taught them. About half of my fam...

Re: Check This Out!! Major Halo 3 glitch!!!!

Goatboy wrote:Fer srs bro, you think that hasn't been tried already?

Hey, I've heard of government sites being hacked via simple SQL injections. But a stupid title, indeed - even if the forums didn't have XSS protections, there would be no point getting anyone to this thread because it only shows an alert anyway.

Not meaning to protect OP, but what's wrong with Metasploit? I have it installed too and I use it occasionally.

Re: hacking Facebook accounts with html

Really, if you have physical access to the computer, executing a phishing attack is extremely easy and require only the very basic skills in programming. I can actually think of 4 good ways while typing this, and none of them require coding over 5 lines of php\javascript. i'm sorry, this is getting ...

Re: Secure file deletion

Generally speaking, 7 passes over a given file is fine. Even then, at the microscopic level they would be lucky to get a third of the information. I have a hard time believing that 35 passes is required. The guy who made that standard even said himself that it is unnecessary. A lot of tools can do ...

Re: Suicide......your thoughts

The way I see it, suicide should be available as a last option that anyone is able to choose at any moment. Having the option of death makes you feel better and safe. It's like a promise that no matter what happens, you can't get into a situation worse than death. As for goatboy's original post, I s...

Re: New JavaScript missions ?

There is a limit to how complicated cracking an application can be when you have the source and the ability to change it at your will.
