Re: A studying subforum?

⋅ Not your personal army. ⋅ Do your own homework. ⋅ etc. "Someone" will make a study guide? "Someone" will post questions from a textbook? It seems to me that you value test scores over actually learning. I say this because right now we treat such b...

Re: Programming 9 - One Time Pad Encryption

IIRC, this is a pain in the ass. I don't think I ever got the provided php version working and I ended up rewriting it. I'll post that part if I can find it but that might be cheating. Running into multiple-solution sudoku was also annoying. :)

Re: Ideas for Java projects

I am into English. I just have to learn Spanish for now because its what my class is doing. I'm probably going to learn English again when I'm done with Spanish. But I'm looking for a project I can do to practice Spanish. Spanglish sounds cool though. Can that be learned easily after Spanish if I h...

Re: Ideas for Java projects

You're into Python as well, right? Maybe play around with Jython and port an existing Python project to the Java platform or vice versa. You won't have to start from scratch and will likely get you using Java, Python and version control.

Re: hide spam in active topics

It was just a bit of shell scripting that triggered an email being sent. Most carriers I know of link an email account with the phone number they give out. Sending an email to my_number@mycarrier.com or some such will cc the email as an sms message to my_number. You can do the reverse as well and co...

Re: Does something like this exploit a hidden form value?

You are indistinguishable from a subtle troll. I'm sorry if that offends. Maybe try to answer a few questions around here before you ask another one. :)
