RFID's in Drivers Licenses

Hello dear hackers. I was wondering if you could help me with a little of assignment of sorts that I am working on for a university engineering class. The class I am taking is about ethics in engineering. We are studying a current issue in engineering. Basically, this revolves around RFID cards. The...

Re: Is this possible?

I'm not sure that you understood my question. I'm not trying to browse anonymously or bypass a firewall or anything. If I wanted to do that, I'd just use a proxy. I'm trying to send packets to a server that appear to have come from an IP address different than mine. I know the headers of IP packets ...

Is this possible?

Hi, I was wondering if it would be possible to spoof my IP address when I send a packet to a server. My goal is to obtain the IP address of an administrator of the server (most of them are friends, that wouldn't be hard) and send a packet to the server from that administrator's IP address while they...

Re: Windows Registry

As you are able to boot from a liveCD, why not try one that will crack the Windows passwords? I can boot from both a CD and a USB flash drive, but that doesn't help. Even if I reset the administrator password, I can't log in as an administrator because I don't get the default Windows XP login promp...

Windows Registry

I was wondering what possible methods there are to modify the Windows Registry outside of Windows itself. What I am trying to do is disable the local firewall on a Windows computer that I do not have administrator privilages on. I am assuming that the best way to do this is to modify the key in the ...

Re: hacking survey for a project

1. Yes, recently I got a virus from a file I downloaded from Microsoft's website. Scary.
2. No, not unless they want us to have it.
3. No.
4. No
5. No, only if justified. Something like that would never happen anyways.
6. Sure, whatever keeps us safe.
7. Yes.
8. No, I didn't know that.
9. Of course...

Re: Assembly/DLL's

That guide seems to be specific to OpenGL hacks (which I know nothing about) and is pretty advanced. Are there more detailed instructions on how to start making dll's, what you can put in them, and how to get programs to load your code into them? And, please don't kill me for asking this, but, there...

Assembly/DLL's

Hi. I was wondering where the best place would be to start learning about making DLL's that can be used to "hack" programs (like games). I'm pretty familiar with programming basics, and I've done a little bit of hacking, but nothing like what I'm trying to accomplish right now. Please don'...

Re: Realistic Mission Subjects

I'm not trying to turn it into a political debate. I'm not even American (I just love America). I'm just saying; the homophobe and Nazi and other ones are all good because in them, you work against people that everyone agrees are ignorant. But that one mission sends out the message that Americans ar...
