As some of you may have noticed many users dropped several points in the rankings. This is because the logic missions which previously have been valued at five times the level have been changed to one times the level. In other words level 18 is no longer 90 points but is now 18.
hi all folks.
I'm here after long time to see how this great site is going on and i'm interested in this discussion. some months ago i've lost a lot of points for encryption chellanges, which simply diappeared from the site. I still don't know why, but this is another story.
On the hother hand i agree the decision on logic missions: they were too much overworthed. Nevertheless IMHO you can't use a formula to assign points to missions. You should make some statistics on them and assign a right value mission by mission (like in apps challanges, modified in the story of HTS).
I'll come back to real hacking now. I'm trying to break 2.000.000 wpa passwords in a bunch.

Who cares... Let's have it right here Ladies and Gents. This site is not a competition of who's ding is bigger than your dong. It's about trying to learn and make you think out of the box rather than be one of the million other sheep out there in the so-called zone. I couldn't give a monkey's backside as to how many points I have or the "have I done more missions than you" bullshit. All I want to do is learn. Learn how to be better than the people who think these things up and think they are so self-important. Well they are not! What's important?? Being the best person you can be, treating others like you would want to be treated and live life the best you can. So who cares if HTS reduce the points award. Who cares if there is any points awarded?? Not me for sure. Just enjoy HTS for what it is. Nothing more than something to occupy your mind with a problem to be solved. Have a great day guys.
