Starting DEFCON Group in IN Area.

Hey guys, Im still learning, not quite a noob but not quite l33t. and im ok with that..i learn new things everyday. but what i posted this for is because i want to start a Defcon group in the Indiana area. there isnt any, i looked and there isnt. i sent them a message saying i wanted to start one but no luck on a reply. i think it would be a good opportunity to meet new people and learn new things within a group. anyone in the indiana are who would like to join please post here and let me know. i dont want to be a leader of the group nor do i think there should be a leader. i just really think it would be nice to get together in groups and discuss, learn, work, and colaborate on stuff we feel is possible or have problems with. for anyone, any rank. even if your just learning. I notice alot of crappy approaches towards new people learning new things on alot of different forums, this forum is pretty good when it comes to appreciation and respect so thats why i am hoping to have support here. thanx guys and i look forward to hearing back from some of ya.

Indianapolis is growing a decent sized Freehackers Union group, maybe you should try coming to an open night. It's not the most noob friendly of course, but it's what ya got!

thats cool. i still think we need a place where even noobs can go to learn without getting ridiculed. i mean everyone was a "noob: at some point in time. i think people just need to remember that.

Damn, I don't live in Indiana...
But I think that's great, just another way besides the Interwebz to communicate about Technology, computers, and hacking.
I'd do something like that in my area as well, but unfortunately a lot of people here aren't dedicated to in depth technology as I am. Although I was suggest to joining the Linux Lab at my school next year, according to the instuctor they need a lot of help, so I'm looking foward to that.
