I too found the hash, and tried every setting in cain. cain would not crack it. it said invalid hash. any other good programs?

If you have got the right string, and you're using cain but can't get the answer, then you've either not pushed the right buttons and/or not trying very hard.

Yes, finally got it! You may want to search for 2 "=" as mutants_r_us_guild said. I feel so stupid now...

This mission is actually very easy, once you've found the hash as mentioned in previous posts then all you have to do is identify what hash it is- very easy if you look at the last two chars of the hash, then google will be able to find you a nice fast online way of solving it.

the only real hints you need for the hash is 'decoder' not 'decrypter' ;)

is the hash EVERYTHING after the comma?
And can you really solve this with only google?

Edit: Actually, i found the password, i just needed to know how to 'decrypt' it. :D

yes, it is everything after the comma, and you dont 'decrypt' it you 'decode' it ;)
if you cant recognise what type of hash it is, you might be able to find a decoder using google, i think cain and able has the tool to decode it.

*edit*
Um.... what the hell kinda hash is this? Ugh.. I've tried everything.. is the == at the end part of the hash.. just tell me what type it is.. there's no way to google search that.

It is one of these hash's http://www.yellowpipe.com/yis/tools/encrypter/index.php

try them until you find it...
