Think back to basic4 or something and remember your basic html skills.
Just make shure that what you're doing to cheat is big enough or the script won't notice.

The Web-Developer Bar is quite useful aswell, not just for this one.

Now, I don't want to sound new at this, but I can easily change the website so that it looks just the way I want it to. The problem is: that's all I can do. Once I refresh, or leave, it goes back to normal (as it probably should so others can do it). If the challange were real, though, you'd want it to stay modified. Nothing happens when I've changed it thoroughly to tell me that I've succeeded. Am I missing something, or do I just get the wonderful feeling that I've done it?

Wat?

You are thinking way, WAY to hard.

Download Tamper Data or Live HTTP Headers if you are still having trouble with this mission.

I know... I have had these programs on my firefox for a looong time now. I do appreciate the help, but respectfully, I'm not that new. I mean, I beat it, but it still seems like there should be a way to modify his description of the band. Is there any way to do this?

No, you could only modify the description on the source you have, which is not the one that other visitors see. And if the description was great but the votes were low the guy still would lose his bet.
