403 Forbidden when accessing local server phpmyadmin

What's the best way to setup a home network? Why should I care about BGP?

Can Anyone Help me out with this!?? Phpmyadmin was working fine when I installed it and everything but I wanted to go into more depth and install the mcrypt extension and also I wanted to use the include php funciton so I tampered with a few files etc in order to install the mcrypt now I get the 403 forbidden warning..I'm running mac os x lion and I don't want to use xamp, mamp, or lamp. Thanks!

Could you be a little more specific? What files did you edit? And what exactly did you edit in these files?
I know you said you don't want to use them, but the *AMP's aren't necessarily a bad idea. Especially if you're just starting out. If I needed to set up a quick or test webserver right now, I'd more than likely use LAMP. So don't think it's a matter of pride or anything.
Another thing, there is always the option of reinstalling phpmyadmin if you truly did just mess too much up.
For those about to hack, I salute you.
