Ugh.

You guys saying this is easy are crazy, I only found the login page on my own and it was a complete fluke. I had to cheat to get to the directory, I figured out the link between songs straight away but as if I was going to play around with url that much... not sure what this even has to do with hacking

Finishing this is really satisfying! I was stuck on the beginning for the longest time and read through pages and pages of comments here. The tip about the ABCs is misleading, and don't think about "ways music is stored" because nobody stores music this way. Ever. Here are my tips from this thread in an order that makes sense:

• Figure out how the song titles are connected.
• Use that information and think about directories; here's where the alphabet tip comes in.
• Only once you've figured that out, think about .htaccess and read the documentation if you have to though it's kinda obvious.
• The next few steps are pretty easy and eventually you'll reach a point where you're given a clue. Think SUPER literally.
• To find the password page, take an educated guess.

i was getting crazy on the [...]/n d** read the configuration file after a while got the D* file.... but i had to cheat for the login page.... i cant belive that...

ARG. So lost. I am thinking that I am not advanced enough for this challenge. I was good enough to get through level 5 without much help, but from then on I was having to do google searches for them until this level.

What kinds of skills do you need to complete this mission? I was able to just "dumb-luck" into the login page because of my knowledge of websites, but I have no idea about how to go about getting into the database.

I guess Im just asking what skills I should be working on and studying so I can even begin to get past this mission.

Searching manually and guessing stuff. Read through the thread for more specific help. It's a very tricky challenge and kind of unintuitive.

here's the hint:
after you found the ".h" and "D" file
you just need to read the file 10 times and you will understand what you must do next

and go to the login page

Take your hint that you find literally.

Oh and you don't need to use 8 mission (as i tried to), just read how apatche stores access information. ( That will help in some point )

after reading at least 18 pages or more, i finally got it!

the reson i spent 5hours on this and not 3 was caused by upper/lower case witch i was told to not worry about. so i didn't
