Havn't seen you around for a while. As for the article, i'm somewhat indifferent to their result. Cryptography drastically puts the odds in the secret holders favor. so i use a 12 character word to password protect my login and these guys can crack it in minutes, like i'm gonna have sensitive information on my desktop. I'll just use something like truecrypt with a crazy passphrase, plausiblle deniability or intentionally corrupt the file. If my 20 seconds to implament a password is cracked by a multi million dollar super computer, i'll just go a step further

TrueCrypt has AES 512bit as an option and if you have a passphrase of 12 chars, good luck trying to break that. lol.

Powerful thing, but it doesn't specify it's speed against any common stream ciphers or block ciphers, just hash algorithms. Would be nice to know if AES-128 is still safe against this.
