Advice on building a computer

So i decided to tare apart my old pentium 4 desktop and reuse the box to save around 200 dollars to build a new computer........i know there are many forums and videos that can explain on how to build a computer.....but im not their yet im still deciding on what processor to go with?

So far i have decided to go with the MSI P67A-GD65 B3 Intel P67 1155 Motherboard and for the processor i dont know either to go with processor that has an integrated graphics card or not. So im not sure wich one to chose: Intel Core i7 3770K Boxed 3.5GHz Unlocked 3rd Generation Processor vs Intel Ci7 2600 S1155

Integrated graphics card = worse graphical performance. However, if you're not going to be using this to play many games, then it should be just fine for you. Also, integrated graphics is much cheaper, but, once again, you get what you pay for.

3770 wins that matchup hands down IMO.

The other one may slightly outperform it out of the box but when you overclock both units you'll have much better stability with the 3770 and you'll be able to run stable at a higher speed (4.5ghz - 4.8ghz safely)when you overclock it as opposed to the s1155 where you may run into issues if you try to push it that high...

BTW a home made computer should be the parts YOU want but just as a little light reading google search --->P8Z68-V PRO/GEN3. With that and bios to go with either one of the cpus a bottle of 8yr old Old Charter says it'll out perform your MSI. Once again personal preferences. I've had a bad history with MSI boards.
