Well, there's always those people who don't like our "no illegal activities will be condoned" policy. If there weren't those incidents, we might not have had to enforce it as much.

I was waiting for a notable hackforums mention as well haha. I'm more of a yellow hacker kind of guy; doubt I'd like this fellow.

Also curious for the "yellow" definition. Although I think that the whole white/gray/black hat thing is mostly fail. I only ever say black hat to reference straight devious acts in the hacking world. Fact is we all fall into all of those categories... or we wouldn't be who we are.

By what I understand Yellow is a person who has claims to be a great hacker but is not and is motivated purely by money. The color relates to gold and therefore money.

But I may be wrong. Please correct me if I am.

Never mind I found a link. Seems to be the original source declaring the existence of Yellow hats
