Hey Im new here, but I cant post in the basic mission forum. I dont know the reason...would someone tell me the reason?
I have a question to the basic mission 4. I have finished it, but im not so sure why?
I thought i get an email with the password?
Can someone tell me what is gone?

Thx

The website realizes that you have passed the level and just gives you the password instead of e-mailing it to you.

As long as you did it right, you will receive the password immediately. The mission realizes that you have the right idea behind it and doesn't actually send you an email.

yea i have an issue aswell that im sure im going to hit myself for later
i've done basic 1,2,4,5 and realistic 1
i cant figure out basic 3, what im trying to do is find this "un-encripted text file" that it talks about in basic 2 (the 2 levels seem related considering the context of the information given)
the other one im trying to figure out is realistic 2, ive gotten that to log into the admin you have to find out whats hidden in the swastica, just having trouble doing that haha

any help would be appreaciated

also some help on posting this in the proper fourm?
i tried posting these questions in the proper place under my own topic. unfortuneately, there isnt any link or button to create a topic, this is the first post i've visited that even allowed me to reply :/

edit:
if it helps you help me (or vice versa) in any way
im using Firefox, and have downloaded the plugin "firebug" which has been really useful so-far in helping me navigate the source code

I am also having the same problem, I edited the code, and save it as HTML, but when I clicked on send the password it actually showed me the password instead of sending an email.

I don't think it's a problem. It's intentional. You'll see similar shortcuts in other simulations on the website - that's an artifact of it being a simulation. Don't worry about it. ;)
