I just have to bitch. There are 63 PAGES of posts in this board, and at least 95% of all posts boil down to one of two things:
1. "How do I solve this."
2. "Read up on JavaScript injection, stupid."

I've read about JS, I POSITIVE I'm doing it right, but it doesn't work. WTF? Does anybody have any advice ?

OK, I got it!

If this helps anyone else, I did not understand about how to enter the URL correctly. I was entering the entire URL with my JS pasted onto the end. When I entered ONLY my JS, it worked for me.

And just to reiterate, absolutely ZERO thanks to the 5 million people who posted something about reading up on JS injection. Your "wisdom" -- ISN'T.

Sorry you weren't given the answer. You're required to do some research. Seems to me you didn't read up on javascript injection enough otherwise you wouldn't have been appending it to the end of the url.

Hello,

Apparently, the new Firefox update disabled javascript injection withing the web browser. I would reallyyy rather not switch browsers JUST for this mission. =/

Do you guys possible have any hints towards completing the mission another way (like using notepad or something)?
Just a little hintt?

Congrats, there are two ways to solve it. Now that you did it the easy way, try doing it the JS injection way just as you were supposed to.

we ware supposed to use javascript? when I did it (many many years ago) I spend forever trying to send the proper http headers in telnet. only to eventually discover it was norton that was being evil and changing the referer.
lots of lessons learned on that one ^^
