IRC chat

Tried getting on to the IRC chat, got a message saying the IRCApplet.class was not found. Help would be appreciated

What do you mean? You need an irc chat program to use irc. I'm no expert on irc and barely ever use it. If you get a message saying IRCApplet.class not found, then maybe your browser is looking for a program with IRCApplet.class as the entry point?

I've used some IRCs through the website. I'm not very familiar with them either, every time I've tried one it never works our (for various reasons). If someone could link a good IRC, I'd be grateful.

Never let me join servers, and after 30 days it wanted me to pay. Idk if free IRCs are common or not, but it would be preferred.

There's a free version of Xchat, though I forget the name of it... I'm sure some Googling would find it for you. And if you're still against XChat, why not just use the built-in site's IRC?

Look at the very first post. I get that error when I try to.

Ah, I thought you meant that you got an error when executing an IRC program locally. Well, MIRC is always a good choice if you're on Window's.

Alright, currently have xchat and mIRC, gonna see what one I like best. How would I go about connect to HTS's IRC through one of these?

just add the server
irc.hackthissite.org (port is 6667)

and when you are on to the sever you could join the channel #hackthissite

And for some other Irc clients we got..
Klient, HydraIRC and KVIrc.. my friends have used them.. but i havent
