how to get the hacking tools?

maybe this a stupid question : how to get the hacking tools? whaere to download? can anybody tell me ? i am a new hand,thanks a lot!

First of, many of the tools used for hacking are the same tools that security analysts use. Go look for tools that you need right now, and find some good vendors whom you can trust for quality tools. Look for 'security tools'. Also, it's kind of on a need right now basis. If you start working with C programming, find a good C IDE. If you are studying an encrypted data file, maybe a hex editor will help. If you are currently cracking the SAM portion of the registry, go find tools that are used to decrypt and view SAM registry files. DLing a network sniffer before you even know what a packet is, is kind of pointless.

Second, I've heard of a story, about a place far, far away. It is a magical place which transports you exactly where you wish to be. Rumor tells that the gods called it 'google'. My friend, what if it is real? We must find it, and use it to it's full potential!

Third, the two best hacking tools you'll ever find are the ones you use in the HTS missions. Common sense, and an open mind.

You are new to the game so I'll just tell you flat out. You are playing with fire if all you are trying to do is get tools from any random download so you can start practicing some hackery. Slow down, pick out something you want to learn how to do and google how it can be done. Then go from there.
If you can be more specific and really show an interest to learn we will more willing to help you out. But we aren't just going to start seeding links to tools that if used incorrectly can get you into a lot of trouble.

Hmm, clearly if you don't know where or how to get the tools, you don't know how to use google.
This is your first step and your best friend, learn to use the search engine to your advantage.
You will more than likely find your answers much faster this way, rather then posting questions in forums and awaiting responses. My logic is to never post a forum topic before "googling" my question first. I would advise you to do the same
I will however tell you that within the useful stuff page on this website, there is a operating system called Backtrack, it comes with a collection of great hacking tools that you can use to your advantage. The catch is that it is a Linux based operating system. So first I would recommend you get familiar with Linux with a more user friendly version such as Ubuntu.
Take this into consideration, as Linux is the way to go, trust me.

Take your time, read, have patience and keep at it.

^^ Glad to hear, I just came around to HTS and seems like a pretty nice community
