Hackits Revived - Programming Contest

Hey, as some of you probably remember the old hacking challenge site hackits.de went down a few years ago, but the community was still alive on Quakenet IRC and there's now a revival project going on, which green-lighted by the old Hackits administrators. We need content and most of all good members who want to contribute to and learn from a great community.

I recently posted a contest to get the forum going which you can see here: https://www.hackits.be/index.php?topic=50, but even if you aren't a programmer, feel free to register and post questions, articles, etc. We need all the help we can get to bring Hackits back! Have fun and for those entering the contest, good luck, I look forward to seeing what you come up with :).

Going to try some good old fashioned extortion. Normally we remove any form of advertising. But lets make a deal. I can't speak for the other mods but if you drop a link to HTS on your site telling everyone how awesome we are, then we can be friends. Deal? :geek:

Lo me gusta. I like the idea.
@limdis, I don't think bringing users to their own site is too bad. But even so, who knows whose site this actually is. Or if it's secretly malicious..

Not my site - just a revival of the first community I was a part of, but if you'd like to talk to the owner of it they're on irc://irc.quakenet.org/hackits.de (Sling).

Edit: Btw, it doesn't look like too many people are interested in the contest - only got one submission so far. -_- *disappointed*
