hi<br>i have been on again-off again with this mission for so long i'm embarrassed to say...i'm going to try my best not to spoil...i know how to get to where i have to enter the password...i followed the directories up to where you have to add you-know-what to get to the page with the indexignore command. i know i have to do SOMETHING with the [filenamehere].* bit of info but what?! i've researched the command itself, pretty sure i understand how why and when it's used, but i am at a complete loss as to how i should apply that knowledge here, especially considering that all access has to be gained using the url....please edit/let me know if i've disclosed too much...thanks in advance for your feedback and help<br>peace and blessings<br>mooka

Once you get to where you can see [filenamehere].* look at what is being done with that file. However, just because you can't see it in the specific directory doesn't mean it is not there... you still might be able to open it.

You should find the password _somewhere_ and take it literally

Ok I cant tell if i beat it or not, i got to the page that says look harder and then went to password page and entered a password. It then took me to a page where i could press a button that said go on and afetr i did it took me to the list of the 11 challenges. So did i beat it?

Yeah man, check your profile on the main site if you're not sure if you got your points. But yes it shows you completed it.

i got to the end of the dir. but its empty i tried the http header and source code but can't find any more dir. i also tried adding all the file extensions i could think of and can't get any to any other dir.

That was such a pain, the ABCs hint took me the longest, and then rest tested my coding explanation comprehension, lol

I get the abc's hint. makes perfect sense. Problem is, no matter what I try, I get no directory. Instead, I get redirected to some witty little comment like "this page has spontaneously exploded" or "we didn't do it" followed by "The requested URL /missions/basic/11/'you know what i put here' was not found on this server" with a link to go back to the previous page...wtf?? Please, somebody PM me with any insight, subtlety is not my forte, and i'm afraid of giving away the solution trying to discuss it here...thnx much friends!

Whew! I finally got it after a few hours!

Unlike most people it seems, I found the login page hardest to find, though there is a good hint on page 25. It still took me a while to find it after that though and I was really frustrated, but it really is pretty straightforward.

If you haven't found any directory at all you haven't quite got the abc hint. There is a good clue from Defience in the first lot of pages, maybe around page ten or so, but you should have read that already. This part is a little bit trial and error, which you have obviously been trying, but keep it simple and keep going.
